How to check the fish price on your bill
Multiply the menu price per kilo by the raw weight shown on the bill. Compare that result with the fish line, before adding any separately charged extras.
Example: checking a 900 g fish
At €58/kg, a 900 g fish should cost €52.20. If the fish line shows €58.20, the difference is €6.00. Ask the restaurant to explain the difference before paying.
Use 0.9 if the bill lists kilograms, or 900 if it lists grams, and select the matching unit. If the weight is missing, ask for it rather than guessing from the cooked fish.
